Terms of Use

Last updated: April 28, 2026

These are the rules for the digitalCORE live session quiz. They are short on purpose. By signing in and playing, you agree to them.

Acceptance

When you fill in the signup form and tap Lock Me In, you agree to this Terms of Use document and to our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

The game is intended for people attending the live event in the room. One player per email and one player per device. If you try to sign in on a second device with the same email, the system will block you so the leaderboard stays fair.

Acceptable use

  • Answer honestly. The point of the game is the conversation, not the trophy.
  • Do not try to manipulate the score, the streak, or the leaderboard.
  • Do not scrape the leaderboard or any other data from this site.
  • Do not put hateful, harassing, or off-topic content in the free-response field. Those answers may be shown on the room screen.
  • Do not interfere with other players or with the host's admin tools.

Free-response answers

When you submit a free-response answer, you grant digitalCORE a limited right to display that answer on the host's screen during the session and to send it to the AI grader for scoring. We do not republish your answers outside the session.

Prizes

Top scorers may win a hat or a book at the host's discretion. Prizes are not guaranteed, are awarded in person, and have no cash value or substitution.

Intellectual property

The quiz questions, branding, design, and session materials (including the session checklist PDF) belong to digitalCORE. You may not copy, redistribute, or reuse them without written permission.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The game is provided "as is" for entertainment and educational purposes during the live session. To the fullest extent permitted by law, digitalCORE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the game.

Termination

The host may remove or disqualify a player who violates these terms or disrupts the session. Sign-ups also close when the session ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The operator may update this jurisdiction in a future version.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the game after a change means you accept the new terms.
